Sunset on Kyalami 1961-1971 is a 210 A4 page book with 239 colour photos highlighting nostalgic memories of the first 10 years of a great South African motor racing circuit. Kyalami was one of the greatest spectator circuits in the world and for drivers it was unique in that it possessed a 1.02 mile full throttle section in which very high speeds were attained.

The narrative account covers the origins and construction of the circuit with reports on all F1 events and Nine Hour Internationals. Featured is a collection of the rarest and most remarkable action photos ever published of Jim Clark(Lotus 25) 1962 Rand GP, David Piper (GTO)-Paul Hawkins(Ford Galaxie)-Fred Knill(DB Panhard Le Mans) 1963 Nine Hour, Michael Nurse(Tojiero Bristol)-C Koekemoer(Consul Special) 1963 Rand GP, Lionel Wilmot(LDS)-Clive Trundell(Clitrun)-Alex Blignaut(Cooper T45) 1964 JHB Fest, Jack Sears(Shelby Cobra) 1964 Nine Hour and a -now famous-grid photo of the Martini and Gunston Porsche 917s along with the Gunston Chevron B16 in the 1970 Nine Hour.

This book guarantees entertainment and research has disclosed readership among many non-motorsport enthusiasts as it does not follow the traditional conservative style of writing so prevelant in many motoring books. Its controversial and guaranteed to put a smile on the face.

Sunset on Kyalami is a limited edition publication and is fast becoming South Africa's best selling motor sport book. It is a must for the collection, superb for a gift. Order now while stocks last.

The next volume covers Kyalami over the years 1972-1987 and will soon be released.
